The Town of Westport reserves the right to waive any defects and informalities in the bidding or in any bid, to reject any or all bids for any reason whatsoever, and to accept that bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Westport Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Owner for fifteen (15) percent of the total amount of the Bid Notice to Proceed - September 25,2023, or as soon as is feasible. within 60 consecutive calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including non-discrimination statutes and set-aside requirements. State law requires a minimum of twenty-five (25%) percent of the statefunded portion of the contract be set aside for award to subcontractors holding current certification from the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services. The contractor must demonstrate good faith effort to meet the 25% set-aside goals.
