BIDDERS The City of Elkhart, Indiana through its Board of Public Works will receive sealed bids for the following: 39 Sewer Separations Project Summary: The project will consist of the installation of approximately 2100 feet of 8" ductile iron water main, approximately 1500 feet of 12" PVC sanitary sewer main, approximately 1300 feet of 12" PVC storm sewer, 1670 feet of 72" RCP storm trunk-line, drive approach removal and replacement, and pavement removal and replacement, and sidewalk along High St, 5th St., and Franklin St. Bids shall be filed with: Clerk of the Board of Public Works City of Elkhart 229 South Second St, Third Floor, Elkhart, IN 46516. Bids will be accepted during the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (ET), up until 9:00 A.M. (ET) Tuesday, September 5, 2023 (the "Deadline"). Any bid received after the Deadline, will be returned to the bidder unopened. After opening the bids, the Board will take all bids under advisement and refer them to City staff for review and tabulation. Viewed at City of Elkhart, Public Works and Utilities, 1201 S. Nappanee Street, Elkhart, IN. A bid, proposal or quotation submitted by a trust (as defined in IC 30- 4-1-1(a) must identify each Beneficiary of the trust and each Settler empowered to revoke or modify the trust. Bids must be submitted on State Board of Accounts. Any deviation from the bid documents must be explained by bidder. The Board will award a contract to the lowest "responsive" and "responsible" bidder. The Board reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities, and to reject any and all bids or portions thereof.
