**As of October 23, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The project generally consists of the demolition of the existing lift station equipment, the abandonment of the existing wet pit, and the construction of a new lift station. The project will also include installation of approximately 179 linear feet of PVC gravity influence line, 84 linear feet of ductile iron pipe power main, site electrical upgrades, construction of cast-in-place, sand-filled sludge drying beds and associated work. The successful bidder will be required to meet the wage requirements prescribed by the federal Davis-Bacon and Relate Acts that require all laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and subcontractors to perform on contracts funded in whole or in part by SRF -appropriations in excess of $2000 shall pay their laborers and mechanics not less than the prevailing wage rates and benefits, and determined by the Secretary of Labor, for corresponding classes of laborers and mechanics employed on similar projects in the area. The successful bidder will be required to use products made primarily of iron and steel that meet US iron and steel requirements. Iron and Steel Products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restrictions, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction material. The Town of Odessa shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bid documents, or a bid that is incomplete or irregular in any way.
