Reference Number 0000328115 This Invitation for Bids will establish required Contract(s) of unit priced items related to Hot Mix Asphalt Superpave using PG 64-22, Loaded on County Trucks at Contractor's Plant. The County will be picking up Hot Mix Asphalt, Bituminous Concrete from the Contractor's , it is in the best interest of the County, that the Contractor have a plant pick-up within thirty (30) miles of 17000 Crabbs Branch Way, Derwood, Maryland via MapQuest, Apple Maps or Google Maps mileage calculation. If a bidder's plant pick-up is located more than thirty miles from 17000 Crabbs Branch Way via MapQuest, Apple Maps or Google Maps mileage calculation, the bid will be ruled non-responsive. Materials to be delivered under this Contract will be located within the political boundaries of Montgomery County, Maryland. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to be knowledgeable of the variety and of the materials to be supplied to the County at the time of bid. The Contractor acknowledges and understands that the County maintains the sole authority to determine program/project , pay items, and required quantities of each item throughout the duration of the Contract. Additionally, the County intends to utilize any item, regardless of bid price or quantity stated in the IFB to ensure the County receives the best value in each project scenario. The Contractor shall not rely on previous quantities used, historical quantities or combination of items, previous agreements or previous Contracts, when entering into this agreement. This Summary Description does not in any way limit any of work, contractor responsibilities or requirements as outlined in this Solicitation. Contractors are responsible for each and every applicable Bid Quotation Item (Section E-1) and all of the Terms and Conditions included or referenced herein.
