At Highland Middle School, scope of work includes Stair, Ramp, and Railing Repairs, Removal and Replacement of Athletic Field Fencing, Outdoor Basketball Court Rehabilitation, and new Gymnasium Sound System. At Highland High School, scope of work includes Abatement and Replacement of Corridor Lockers, Abatement and Replacement of Classroom Floor Tile, Abatement of Pipe Fittings in Boiler Room, Removal of Acoustical Wall Panels in Classrooms, Rehabilitation of Wood Display Wall near Gymnasium, Removal and Replacement of Roof Edge Flashings, and Removal and Replacement of Sidewalks. At Highland Elementary School, scope of work includes Abatement and Replacement of Classroom Floor Tile, Removal and Replacement of Operable Partitions in Classrooms, Removal and Replacement of Ceilings in Classrooms and Corridors, Building-Wide Light Fixture Replacement, Building-Wide Upgrades to Electrical Service, Rehabilitation of Softball Field, and new Play Area Fencing. At the Highland Bus Garage, the scope of work includes Removal and Replacement of Bus Lift in Garage Bay #2 and new Bus Lift in Garage Bay #1. The Owner, the School Board of Highland Central School District will receive sealed bids to furnish materials and labor to complete the 2022 Capital Improvement Project which includes construction of interior alterations and site improvements. Contract No. 01 - Hazardous Materials (HAZ) Bids shall not include New York State sales and compensating use taxes on materials and supplies incorporated into the Work, as the Owner being exempt therefrom. Bidders must comply with New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule and conditions of employment. Bidder must provide Bid Security in the amount and form per the conditions provided in Section Instructions to Bidders. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days after the Bid opening. The Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return Bid Security prior to that date. The School Board of Highland Central School District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, and/or to reject all Bids without explanation.
