The Rural Municipality of Livingston invites proposals from qualified bridge companies to remove and replace the railings on both sides of the Low-Level Bridge at: 51 52'57"N 101 50'19"W We are looking for 2 proposals, one for wood and one for steel. This is a standard 9m bridge (40') with room for 18 posts or posts and blocks. There is a serious water, ice and debris event every spring which usually plays havoc with the west side railings. The railings are kept lower than code because there is enough for debris and ice to get caught on and ruin the structure. Removing and disposing of the existing railings and blocks. 2. The new structure can consist of metal or wood. 3. Height of the Railings can be discussed with the administrator 4. There are 18 posts with 4 bolts, washers and nuts for each. If 8" posts and 8" blocks are used then then the standard 24" ready rod can be used in the original placements in the concrete girders.
