Dane County is inviting Bids for construction services related to structural repairs at Dane Countys Construction and Demolition (C&D) Facility. Only firms with capabilities, experience & expertise with similar projects should obtain this Request for Bids (RFB) document & submit Bids. Dane Countys Department of Waste & Renewables is seeking to replace several structural members at Dane Countys C&D Facility that began operations in 2016. The building operated as a Waste Transfer Station (WTS) until 2015 when building expansion construction began for use of the existing WTS as a C&D Facility. The Architect / Engineer for the C&D Facility was SCS Engineers, where Foremost Building was the building manufacturer. The C&D Facility is an industrial facility with large heavy equipment operated within and around the building. C&D Facility operations will be shutdown during structural member replacement and tipping floor will be cleared of C&D materials so Contractor can erect structural components in a safe and efficient manner. Contractor shall be responsible for erection of structural components, in compliance with the approved shop drawings.
