The proposed construction consists of 117 LF of open cut 8-inch sanitary sewer, 149 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer by trenchless methods, 170 LF of open cut 8-inch water main, 166 LF of 8-inch water main by trenchless methods, and other miscellaneous items of work. All pertinent documents may be examined at the Office of the Village Clerk at 7511-12th Street, Somers, WI 53171 All Bidders shall comply with the Contractor Qualification Ordinance of the Village of Somers requiring prequalification of Bidders prior to obtaining Bidding documents or submitting Bids or to act as a Contractor or Subcontractor on any public improvement project. An application for Qualification form may be obtained from the Village of Somers at 7511 12th Street (CTH E), Somers, WI 53171 All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidders bond, certified check, bank cashiers check or bank draft payable to the Village of Somers for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
