Because of this, please view the PDF for the most accurate information. 5287-8/15, 17, 19 2023 NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF AN ENVIRONM ENTAL ASSESSM ENT The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, is considering an application for financial assistance from Donato Solar LLC. The specific element of this proposed action is the construction of a new 5.5 Megawatt ground-mounted solar-array farm in Vermilion Co, IL. Specifically, the proposed facility will employ multiple*rows of solar array photovoltaic (PV) modules on a ground-mounted racking system. There will also be a data building and grave! drive/parking lot The facilities will 8 built on a 21-acre site, that is located in Danville, IL on the north side of Old Lynch Rd just west of Lynch Road. 3295 E Main St. is the address to the site The facility will comply with all applicable laws, permits, mitigating measures outlined by the various agencies contacted or involved. The other purpose of this notice is to inform the public of the proposed construction wil convert approximately 21 acres of farmland for the solar array farm. This land is considered Prime ana mportant farmland and the proposal has been reviewed by the Natural Resource Conservation Service and IL Department of Agriculture, n review of the proposed project, alternative sites or actions that would avoid these impacts and methods that could be used to minimize these impacts were investigated and the proposed alternative appears to be the most feasible. Logic Environmental prepared an environmental assessment for RD that describes the project, assesses the proposed project's environmental impacts, ana summarizes as applicable any mitigation measures used to minimize environmental effects. Rural Development has reviewed the anvironmenta! report and believes that it accurately assesses the impacts of the proposed project. No significant impacts are expected as a result of the construction of the project Any person interested in commenting on the proposed action may do so by sending such comments within 14 days following the date of this publication to the following address.
