Work to be performed under Contract B382 includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all safety, supervision, labor, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to perform Plantwide paving repairs on an as needed basis for a two (2) year period. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, or by a bid bond in an amount not less than $1,000 or 10% of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000.00 enclosed in a sealed envelope, with the bid. Bid Security will be held in lieu of a Performance Bond for the duration of the contract, at which time it will be returned to the Contractor. Prevailing wage rates will not apply or be applicable to any contract unless an appendix from the New Jersey Department of Labor which includes the "Prevailing Wage Rate Determination," listing the prevailing wage levels is attached to the contract. All questions must be submitted to Michael DeSena electronically at mdesena@pvsc.com. The final day to submit questions shall be no later than 10:00 am EST seven (7) days prior to bid date, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays excepted. The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission reserves the right to reject all bids to waive minor informalities and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder in accordance with applicable law.
