The project includes removals and replacements of fire hydrants, auxiliary valves, and hydrant leads with all associated removals and replacements of pavement, sidewalk, curb and gutter, restoration, and traffic control at various locations about the city. Bid forms shall be submitted with all required bid attachments. A certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the City of Benton Harbor will be required with each project bid as security for the proper execution of the contract.
