This project is to include all costs associated with removal of the three remaining tracks located around Pier 28/30. Questions shall be e-mailed to purchasing@ portofgalveston.com by Wednesday, August 30th, 2023, at 2:00 PM. Address envelopes as follows: Board of Trustees of the Galveston Wharves Attention: Purchasing Agent 123 25th Street, 8th Floor. Galveston, Texas 77550 The Board of Trustees of the Galveston Wharves will award this bid to the bidder who provides the requested goods or services at the best value for the Port, which will include an analysis of the following criteria: purchase price, reputation of the bidder and of the bidders goods or services, the quality of the bidders goods or services, the extent to which the goods or services meet the Ports needs, the bidders past relationship with the Port, the impact on the ability of the Port to comply with laws and rules relating to historically underutilized businesses and non-profit organizations employing persons with disabilities, and the total long term cost to the Port to acquire the bidders goods or services. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids, in whole or in part, and to accept the bid or bids, in whole or in part, for any reason or to negotiate with any and all bidders and waive any informality in bids received. Bidder(s) may withdraw their bid, either personally or by written request, at any time prior to the scheduled time for the bid opening. The Galveston Wharves may hold the bids for 60days after the date set for the opening without making a decision and the bidder(s) may not withdraw their bid(s) within that time.
