The Warren Senior Center is a one-story building in which daily senior activities and community events are held. The Town of Warren is soliciting written quotes for its exterior building improvement project at its Senior Center from experienced licensed contractors who customarily perform the stated work. The project consists of: installation of vinyl siding (front half of building only, peeling paint area), minimum 3/8 craft on foil backer, new 5'' aluminum seamless gutters with downspouts around the entire building, vinyl corners, power wash entire building, remove peeling paint, paint cement block on right side of building, paint eastside exterior door white. The Town of Warren ("Town") is soliciting written quotes for its exterior building improvement project at its Senior Center from experienced licensed contractors who customarily perform the stated work. The project consists of installation of vinyl siding (front half of building only, peeling paint area), minimum 3/8 craft on foil backer, new 5" aluminum seamless gutters with downspouts around the entire building, vinyl corners, power wash entire building, remove peeling paint, paint cement block on right side of building, paint eastside exterior door white. Price to include removal of old gutters, and disposal of all debris. The contractor shall only use colors selected by the Town for all vinyl siding, gutters, downspouts, sofit and fascia. All work is to be done by skilled and licensed tradespeople. The contractor must meet the requirements ofthe Massachusetts State Building Code (780 CMR). Minimum requirement is five years' experience completing projects of similar size and scope. Any subcontractors must be approved by the Town prior to the start of any work. The contractor agrees that the Town is not responsible for fire, theft, loss and/or vandalism of any of the contractors' tools, equipment, materials, supplies and/or work in progress. The contractor is required to provide all labor, supervision, design, materials, equipment, fuel, supplies, tools, permits, and Town approved insurance coverages. Permit fees imposed by the Town of Warren will be waived.
