Separate sealed Bids for furnishing of all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appliances necessary for the Lauderdale Memorial Highway Water Main Replacement (W3041X), will be received by the Owner Any bid sent by Fedex or similar company shall be sent to Cleveland Utilities, Attention: Jon Sparkman, PE, 2435 Guthrie Drive, N.W., Cleveland, TN, 37312. The project includes installation of approximately 500 L.F. feet of 6-inch ductile iron pipe water main with all pipe, fittings, valves and appurtenances provided by Cleveland Utilities. The project is located in Cleveland, TN on Lauderdale Memorial Highway east of I-75. Contractor is fully responsible for making sure sealed bid is delivered to Cleveland Utilities by the closing date and time. Cleveland Utilities will maintain a plan holders list so that any addendums can be distributed in a timely manner. No bid may be withdrawn within 45 days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. All questions should be directed to McKenzie Curtis. Cleveland Utilities reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and all bids. All bidders must be licensed Contractors in compliance with all requirement of the State of Tennessee Contractors Licensing Act. It is the policy of Cleveland Utilities to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; 49 CFR, Part 21; related statutes and regulations to that end that no person shall be excluded from participation in or be denied benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance or any other funding source on the grounds of race, color, sex, national origin, or ancestry. By virtue of submitting a response to this solicitation, bidders agree to comply with the same non-discrimination policy.
