The purpose of this Competitive Sealed Request for Proposal is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified, licensed and experienced consulting firm(s) to establish an open-ended contract(s) to provide Building Envelope Technical Support Services on an "as needed basis" for James City County (JCC); James City Services Authority (JCSA); and Williamsburg/James City County Public Schools (WJCC), referred collectively herein as the Owner, as described in this Request for Proposal (RFP). Contract services shall be performed on an "as needed basis" for specific projects as assigned with Contract Task Orders for an initial period of one (1) year with four (4) one year renewal options. Each individual project shall not exceed $100,000. The total amount of work assigned to the firm(s) during each term of the contract shall not exceed $500,000 per entity (JCC, JCSA and WJCC). James City County reserves the right to award contracts to more than one qualified firm, to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of this request, to negotiate with a qualified firm or to modify or cancel in part or in its entirety the Request for Proposal, if it is in the best interest of James City County to do so.
