INSTALL and FINISH APPROXIMATELY 2500SF 5/8" FIRE RATED BLUEBOARD ON THE CEILING IN THE APPARATUS BAYS (RFP ID: 08-01-2023) The Scope of Work will include: Proposal must include the following at a minimum: *Furnish and install deadwood and nailers where needed. *Furnish all material for project. *Install 5/8" fire rated Bluebeard to code. *Finish Blueboard with FireGuard E-84 Flame Retardant Coating *Install trim around all edges to complete installation. *Contractor must work with fire department employees to remove bay door tracks or attachments to install Bluebeard over or around existing track brackets. *Site visit required to discuss bay doors and brackets. *Winning bidder must furnish all documentation necessary to receive a permit for project *Work must be completed within (30) days after permit is issued or an agreed start date. The Bid will be awarded to the qualified and responsible bidder. Qualification and Responsibility will be judged based on the non-monetary responses as set forth in the Bid Response Form and on information obtained by due diligence activities of the City. Should the Owner accept your Bid Proposal, you will be notified of the intent to award a contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids. No bidder will be deemed to obtain property rights in connection with any bid response until the City Commission has formally awarded and executed a construction contract to such bidder. Any person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a bid, see Fla. Stat. 287.133. Any bids received without all response materials required will be considered incomplete and bid will be disqualified. All bid responses are considered public records under Florida law.
