Exterior Stair Replacement at Edgemont and Community Pre-K The scope of work for the Community Pre-K includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of an exterior steel stair with new. The work includes, but is not limited to, new landings, stringers, handrails, and guard rails. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check made payable to the Montclair Board of Education, for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid, however, not to exceed $20,000. Bidders and all subcontractors are required to comply with the Public Works Contractor Registration Act and to possess current certification from the Division of Wage and Hour Compliance in the Department of Labor and Workforce Development at the time the bid is submitted. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any non-responsive bids or all bids, and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions, that may be in the best interest of the Board.
