The City of Clewiston, Florida (City) desires to enter into a contractual relationship with vendors capable of providing general plumbing services for the maintenance and repair of city owned facilities or equipment or any other tasks that may require contracted general plumbing services. All Bidders/Contractors submitting proposals must be authorized to do business in the State of Florida. If said Bidders/Contractors are a corporation, partnership or limited liability company, they must be in continuous good standing, active and current with state of their incorporation or registration and the State of Florida and must keep their active and current status throughout the term of the contract. Any business located within the city limits of Clewiston must provide a copy of their business occupational license at the time of award. The City reserves the right to delay awarding of the Contract for a period of sixty (60) days after bid opening, to waive informalities in any bid, or reject any or all bids in whole or in part with or without cause and/or to accept the bid that, in its judgment, will serve the best interest of the City of Clewiston, Florida. Notwithstanding any clause or statement to the contrary, or in the event of any conflict, inconsistency or need for interpretation concerning any bid or bid related documents, the provisions of Chapter 2, Article III, Section 2-79 of the Clewiston Code concerning Purchasing Methods and this Invitation to Bid shall control in this order.
