The Kent County Purchasing Division is soliciting a request for qualification (RFQu) for an Engineering Survey of all existing HVAC equipment located at the Kent County Sheriff Office, 701 Ball Avenue, NE Grand Rapids, MI 49503. The survey will determine the state of the HVAC systems and provide recommendations for improvement, expansion and/or replacement. Specific areas of concern are in the Dispatch area and training rooms. Work may commence after October 1, 2023. Work is to be performed during normal business hours Mon - Fri 8am-5pm unless preauthorized arrangements are made with Facilities. Some work will be performed in secure areas. Once the project is started, work will be continuous until the point of completion. Inquiries Deadline Date & Time (local) 8/25/2023, 2 PM Any and all communication regarding this Solicitation shall be on the Kent County Purchasing Division Inquiry Blog via the Bid Opportunities page or during pre-proposal meetings. Project includes the following but not limited to: o Survey of all HVAC equipment including piping, valves, fittings, control, circulation pumps, and all other devices. o Space utilization current and future and impact to systems. o Lifecycle of existing systems and technology. o Phased replacement plan.
