THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE AND SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. NO PROPOSALS OR COST INFORMATION IS REQUESTED AT THIS TIME AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR CONSIDERED. NO CONTRACT WILL BE ISSUED AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tobyhanna Division has a requirement for the maintenance and repair of automatic doors, including, but not limited to material, parts and installation labor to upgrade as necessary. ACC-APG intends to issue a solicitation and award a Time and Materials Contract for this requirement. It's anticipated this solicitation will be issued via beta.sam.gov in late August or early September 2023. The following draft document is attached: (1) Attachment 1 - PWS Interested parties are requested to review the attached document and provide feedback as necessary, to include any questions, concerns, issues, clarifications, etc. It's requested that interested parties ask any and all questions that they would otherwise submit during the solicitation phase. This is to ensure that the Government's requirements documents are as clear, concise, and accurate as possible at the time the solicitation is posted. All submissions shall be submitted via e-mail to mark.a.buonomo.civ@mail.mil. Industry feedback may result in revisions to any or all of the draft documents. PREVIOUS SET-ASIDE HISTORY: THE EXISTING CONTRACT FOR THESE SERVICES WAS ORIGINALLY SOLICITED AS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE, AFTER MARKET RESEARCH SHOWED THAT 2 OR MORE SMALL BUSINESSES HAD THE INTEREST AND CAPABILITY. AFTER NO ACCEPTABLE PROPOSALS WERE RECEIVED FROM SMALL BUSINESSES, THE REQUIREMENT WAS RE-SOLICITED USING 100% FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. SOURCES SOUGHT: THE GOVERNMENT IS SEEKING SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS WITH THE INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO MEET THIS REQUIREMENT. IN ORDER FOR THIS REQUIREMENT AND PENDING SOLICITATION TO BE POSTED AS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE, 2 OR MORE SMALL BUSINESSES MUST CONTACT THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST TO EXPRESS THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY. INTERESTED OFFERORS SHALL PROVIDE A CAPABILITY STATEMENT AND EXAMPLES OF SIMILAR SERVICES PERFORMED, IN THE ABSENCE OF SUFFICIENT SMALL BUSINESS INTEREST, THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE SOLICITED USING 100% FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION.
