2.1.1 Provide design and construction services at the National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC) for office suite 3A127. Room 3A127 is a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility). All design, materials and renovation work shall comply with UFC 4-010-05 and the latest revision to ICD 705 to meet the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities Planning, Design and construction requirements. 2.1.2 Complete thorough field survey/investigations of existing conditions to become familiar with existing conditions before preparing design submittals. 2.1.3 Full and complete design service, which may include furniture assembly/disassembly, furniture storage and reinstallation of select conference room furniture only. 2.1.4 Design services also include furniture procurement and installation of new furniture. 2.1.5 Office construction includes demountable office partition walls providing and constructing slab-to-slab wall partitions, floor to ceiling wall partitions, doors and frames. Work also includes painting, flooring work to include carpeting, raised access flooring, vinyl tile and other miscellaneous flooring used at the NMIC Facility. 2.1.6 Life safety analysis to include fire protection. Fire Protection work shall consist of an assessment of the existing fire escape, means of egress and reconfiguration of sprinkler heads to meet IBC standards. 2.1.7 Work to include design and modification HVAC, electrical distribution systems, lighting systems, locksmith services. 2.1.8 Work to include HAZMAT (e.g. mold remediation) survey. 2.1.9 The contractor shall also include and provide as-built drawings in current NMIC CAD format and .pdf format at the completion of the project. The Contractor will consult with NAVFAC and ONI (Office of Naval Intelligence) to determine the construction-phasing schedule (if necessary). 2.1.10 To minimize cost, maintain as much of the existing features of construction as practical, without sacrificing functions, comfort, space, security, and esthetics. ONI will provide the systems furniture. 2.1.11 Suite 3A127 is a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility). All design, materials and renovation work shall comply with UFC 4-010-05 and the latest revision to ICD 705 to meet the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities Planning, Design and construction requirements.
