As of September 19, 2023, no bids received. No definite date for the rebid. Bid results will be available either as requested or electronically. The Work related to the Bear Valley Bridge Rehabilitation Project comprises rehabilitation of the existing concrete deck bridge and steel substructure, stabilization of the surrounding area, workmanship and all appurtenances for a complete job. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to Hegins Township, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly obtain the required Bonds and Insurance, prepare the required submittal documents and execute the Agreement. All Bids shall remain irrevocable for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of Bid opening. The successful Bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of the Bid price. Bids shall be submitted upon forms furnished by Hegins Township. Contract Documents may also be obtained electronically. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to the project. Hegins Township reserves the right after opening bids or reject any part of or all bids and to waive any minor informality, technical defects or irregularities in a bid Clarification Deadline: 8/27/2023 9:00 AM The Work to be constructed hereunder is located on Bear Valley Road in Hegins Township, County of Schuylkill, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The bridge crosses over the West Branch Rausch Creek, west of Gap Street. The work to be completed includes structural upgrades to the existing Bear Valley Bridge west, underside of bridge and stabilization of the existing stream bed and embankment
