This is sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center (Salisbury, NC) has a requirement to replace & install 2 sub-basement mounted end suction pumps, series: e-1510. Technical services shall include: Isolate pumps from system, lock-out/tag-out, and drain from valves Demo piping connections on supply and return lines, demo pump electrical Remove existing pump and set new pump Install new piping and fittings Fill system and test Re-connect electrical and test Install new insulation The Contractor shall provide a certified engineer through a formalized training program, with a verified certificate to perform preventative and remedial maintenance on the equipment, must be OSHA-10 certified and comply with the Federal Guidelines. In addition to all labor, time, materials, and equipment to replace sub-basement mounted pump. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size (large or small): identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories-8(a), HUBZone, Services Disabled Veteran Owned/Veteran-Owned Small Business; provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement.
