The San Jacinto River Authority is requesting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) for Professional Engineering Services for the Lift Station No 1 Gravity Main Bypass and Decommissioning Project. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) solicits information that will enable SJRA to select one or more Consultant(s) that shall provide professional services for professional design engineering services for decommissioning of Lift Station No. 1 and diverting the influent flow to the existing 42-inch gravity sanitary sewer line located near the intersection of Woodlands Parkway and Lake Front Circle via a new gravity sanitary sewer line. Consultant shall provide professional engineering services for decommissioning of Lift Station No. 1 and diverting the influent flow to the existing 42-inch gravity sanitary sewer line located near the intersection of Woodlands Parkway and Lake Front Circle. Services shall consist of: Provide project management, preliminary design including recommendation for gravity sewer placement, identification and coordination of any utility conflict, final design, construction phase services, survey, and geotechnical investigation to facilitate the project. The project will comprise of a new gravity sanitary sewer line to convey flow from the existing influent line of Lift Station No. 1 to the proposed tie-in location to the existing 42-inch gravity sanitary sewer as well as recommendations and design for the extent of decommissioning of Lift Station No. 1. Following design, the consultant will provide procurement assistance and construction phase services during construction, unless otherwise notified by SJRA. Consultant may be required to perform site visits, document site observations, participate in progress meetings, upload reports to SJRA's Procore site, verify compliance with specifications, and other services to support quality assurance efforts. This project includes the review of previously developed master plans and technical memorandums, record drawings, and condition assessments of the facility.
