**As of October 05, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The City is seeking turn-key EV charging services with an EV charging service provider (or "Vendor") to install, own, operate and maintain EV charging stations at City parking facilities and potentially in the public right-of-way. The selected vendor will be responsible for replacing a minimum of 48 old charge ports at three parking structures, replacing additional chargers that break in the future at various City locations, and installing chargers at new sites identified by the City in collaboration with the vendor. All parking facilities see high charger utilization from surrounding businesses. The City has more than 160 public City-owned chargers and no longer wishes to own, operate and maintain new public charging equipment due to limited capacity and resources. The selected vendor would install chargers at mutually agreed upon City locations at no-cost to the City, cover electricity costs, and retain charging revenue and ownership of the low carbon fuel standard (LCFS) credits earned. The first phase of this project will be to replace chargers at the specific locations below. The second phase will be adding new chargers at the Santa Monica Airport. Design and construction for this location is being handled by the City of Santa Monica. Vendor will install charging units. Question Deadline 08/31/2023 at 3:00 PM PT Vendor Queries Due Questions must be submitted online in the "Q&A" tab. The City will only accept or respond to questions submitted through the online vendor portal. Any inquiries or requests regarding this procurement should be submitted via OpenGov. Insert detailed statement/scope of work and deliverables including reporting requirements. List the criteria that must be met and that will be used to score and evaluate the proposals. 2.1 Installation, ownership, operation, and maintenance Vendor is responsible for all aspects of the design, construction and installation process, unless otherwise noted. This includes developing site plans, submitting permits, and installing equipment. Vendor will own and operate equipment and handle all maintenance. Vendor must actively check charger status to ensure that stations are functioning properly, and address maintenance issues within a reasonable timeframe of under five business days (subject to parts availability).
