The Proposal Form shall be accompany by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Guarantee Bid Bond and a Certification from a Surety Company in the amount of 10% (ten percent) of the bid. Check or Surety Company Bid Bond shall be made payable to the Township of Irvington, NJ. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Surety Performance Bond on a statutory form in the full amount of the contract or purchase order. Original and 4 copies of bid package are required. The Proposal Form shall also be accompanied by a properly executed non-collusion affidavit. Bids send by mail, must be received prior to the time set for receiving bids and should be brought to the Township Clerk's Office, in the Municipal Building, Room 116 or mailed to: Office of Municipal Clerk, Township of Irvington, Municipal Building, One Civic Square, Room 116 Irvington, New Jersey 07111. Bidders are also required to comply with other provisions of Law including, but not limited to, the requirements of: N.J.S.A. 34-11-56.25 regulating wages on Public Works, with the Equal Employment Opportunity Act Requirement of P.L. 1975 C127, and N.J.A.C. 17-27 Affirmative Action and with the requirements of P.L. 1977 C33 regarding the submission of a list of all Stockholders or Partners owning more than 10% stock or interest in their Corporation or Partnership. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the Township of Irvington. Municipal Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids due to any defects or for not adhering to the Specification or for any reason or to waive informalities and accept any bid that in its judgment will be the best interest of the Township. Municipal Council reserves the right to reserves the right to sever and make awards of all or parts of any bids to one or more bidders.
