Reference Number 0000330401 The Pecos Valley Regional Communications Center Renovation project entails selective demolition and new construction within the existing south-western wing of the Chaves County Administrative Center located at 1 St. Mary's Pl, Roswell, NM 88203. The project is intended to house the re-located Pecos Valley Regional Communications Center (which is currently located in the north-eastern wing of the Chaves County Administrative Center). The base bid of work includes selective demolition of existing interior partitions, doors, exterior walls, aluminum framed storefront, finishes and fixtures. The base bid of work for new construction includes new interior partitions, exterior wall infill, modifications to existing aluminum framed storefront, new finishes and window treatments, new doors and frames, casework, lockers, plumbing, pneumatic tube system and transaction drawer, modifications to existing sprinkler system, site trenching and backfill, and electrical, telecommunications and special systems infrastructure and equipment as required for a turn-key, working system. There are several additive alternates included in the of work. Additive alternates for the project include a new diesel generator, new redundant HVAC systems and associated structural bracing, exterior improvements to the secure parking area and a chemical fire suppression system within the new I.T. room.
