This is a pre-solicitation notice. 12405B23Q0603 The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Stoneville, MS has a requirement for Repair Roof for Bldg. #45 with Bio Based Roof Coating to include: Contractor will apply Government supplied Bio-Based roof coating system and all applicable products on Bldg. #45 metal roof. The roof measures approximately 7,400 SF which includes additional surface area due to corrugations, per manufacturer application recommendations. Contractor shall provide Manufacturer Inspection and provide a 10-Year Manufacturer Limited Warranty. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Quote for a firm fixed priced construction contract. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238160 with a size standard of $19.0 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. The magnitude of the project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement around August 18, 2023. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services. The statement of work is attached to this notice for information only. The full RFP, applicable provisions/clauses, wage rates, etc. will be posted when the full RFP solicitation is released around August 18, 2023. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
