BLM Concrete Slab Increased Seed Storage Concrete Slab for increased seed storage, Lakeview District BLM, Klamath Falls Field Office All work shall be performed in accordance with the BLM Vertical MATOC IDIQ and this Task Order. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A. Project Requirements: a. Existing aggregate parking lot must be excavated to a depth allowing for compacted base, construction of forms, and placement of rebar required for the slab. b. 1 1/2 inch minus base rock must be placed to a minimum compacted depth of 6 inches. c. Forms must be constructed to pour a cast in place concrete slab at the finished dimensions shown in the attached plans. d. Rebar must be placed in a manor to provide clear spaces to formed, earth and finish surfaces as shown in attached plans. Rebar must be #4 bar, 9 inches on center both ways, and having a yield strength of 60 ksi. e. Concrete must be placed, consolidated and cured in accordance with the attached plans and specifications. Concrete must have a minimum 28 day compressive strength of 4,000 psi. f. Trenching for the power supply must be a minimum of 29 inches deep to account for 24" of cover, conduit thickness and bedding depth below the conduit. g. Electrical work must be performed by a qualified licensed electrician, and conform to current electrical codes. h. Electrical work includes installation of new 60-amp feed from existing service in building, installation of circuit and conduit (#2 THHN conductor and 1 1/2 " schedule 80 PVC for conduit). Conductor and Conduit to be 'stubbed' up through the rear (north end) of the slab prior to placement of concrete. i. New circuit must not be energized prior to the installation of the modular freezer unit. j. Bed conduit and conductor, and backfill utility trench per plans and specifications. k. Project cleanup.
