Land Debris Removal for Disasters. Land Debris Removal operations consist of clearing, removing, transporting and disposing and/or recycling of Debris generated during a Federally, State, County or Municipally Declared Disaster. Land Debris operations also requires observation to ensure that workers are performing eligible work in accordance with the Contract and applicable federal, State and local law and/or FEMA requirements. Land Debris Removal operations also require the Contractor to provide documentation to support maximum FEMA reimbursement, if directed by the Using Agency. The base term of this Contract shall be for a period of three (3) years. The performance security shall be in the form of a properly executed individual or annual performance bond issued by an insurance or security company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey, a certified or cashier's check drawn to the order of the Treasurer, State of New Jersey, or an irrevocable letter of credit drawn naming the Treasurer, State of New Jersey as beneficiary issued by a federally insured financial institution. The Contractor shall comply with all requirements of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage. The Director reserves the right to reject any or all Quotes, or to award in whole or in part if deemed to be in the best interest of the State to do so. the Director may waive minor irregularities or omissions in a Quote. The Director reserves the right to waive a requirement provided that the requirement does not materially affect the procurement or the State's interests associated with the procurement.
