The Structure Rehabilitation Project will consist of roadway paving, guiderail removal and replacement, curb repair, wing wall corner repair, and flowable backfill behind the damaged wing wall. The items of work are identified more specifically in the Project Specifications. The entire project will be awarded to one (1) Contractor. Questions must be submitted, via electronically by 5:00 PM on Monday, August 28th, 2023. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of The County of Luzerne, negotiable US Government Bonds (at par value), or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable surety in the amount of 10% of the Total Bid of construction shall be submitted with each bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner.
