The HRTP will provide high-capacity rapid transit in the travel corridor between East Kapolei and Ala Moana Center. This corridor includes the majority of housing and employment on Oahu. The north-south width of the corridor is a maximum of four (4) miles, with the corridor constrained by the Koolau and Waianae Mountain Ranges to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south. The HRTP is identified in the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) as the design, construction and operation of a twenty (20) mile grade-separated fixed guideway transit system between East Kapolei and Ala Moana Center. All parts of the guideway will be elevated, except near Leeward Community College where it will be at-grade. The system will incorporate steel wheel-on-steel rail technology. The HRTP includes twenty- one (21) stations, one (1) Rail Operations Center (ROC), and eighty (80) light metro vehicles and associated core systems. Deadline for Submission of Non-Disclosure Agreement for HECO Electrical Design Drawings, HECO Service Reconnection Drawings, and HECO Utility Agreements September 20, 2023 The Project relocates utilities in advance of the City Center Guideway and Stations construction work. It provides utility relocation construction services for electrical utilities on behalf of Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc. ("HECO") throughout the City Center segment of the Honolulu Rail Transit Project ("HRTP"). The construction services to be provided include, but are not limited to, permanent and temporary electrical utility relocation, cabling and cutover, close coordination with the CCUR IV contractor that will be providing the infrastructure for the electrical utility, coordination with HECO on the energization of the electrical utility, and installation of permanent utility poles, equipment, electrical gear and transformers, removal of existing utility poles, pole foundations to a minimum of five feet below finished grade and cabling, building connection work, and other utility installation support structures. Other construction work in the vicinity of the Project has been completed or is under construction by HART or other Authorities Having Jurisdiction ("AHJ"). For information to Bidders, Reference Materials include selected drawings from the CCUR IV contract. Deadline for Receipt of Clarification Requests - All communications between Bidders and HART shall be in writing.
