A. The proposed improvement is officially known as 2023 Sewer Main to Service Lateral Connection Testing and Sealing Project which generally consists of testing and sealing the sanitary sewer main to service lateral connections, and at least four (4) feet up the service lateral from the sewer main, with chemical grout. The work will occur on 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch diameter sanitary sewer mains previously rehabilitated with curedin-place pipe liners. B. This Specification covers all work necessary to test and seal sewer main to service lateral connections, including four (4) feet up the service lateral from the sewer main, within the City of Wheatons sewer collection system. The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, and services necessary for traffic control, mainline cleaning, CCTV, bypass pumping and/or diversion of sewage flows, testing and sealing of all service connections with chemical grout, final television inspection of the lined sewer mains, warranty work, and all other materials, equipment, and procedures necessary to complete the work specified herein.
