The primary scope of work includes chemically treating roots in the sewer lines. The Contractor shall treat sanitary sewer lines using Razorooter(R) II Foaming Root Control. Root control treatment will be performed in approximately 9400 linear feet of 6-inch, 8-inch, and 10-inch reinforced concrete pipes (RCP) and work will occur at various locations throughout Mercer Island, WA. Engineer's estimate is $20,000 to $23,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Work under this contract may start as soon as the contract is executed but all chemically treated injections must only be performed between May 1st and September 30th, and as may be amended by the King County Wastewater Treatment Division's Industrial Wastewater Program.
