Main Street Mount Airy, MD 21771-0050 Telephone: 301-829-1424 The Town of Mount Airy is soliciting bids from Utility Contractors to replace 3,447 feet of Water Main. Please note there will be no documents mailed or faxed for this Project. All bidders shall be solely responsible for reviewing the Town s website for any addendums up until the bid due date and all bids must be submitted on the Bid Form as provided. If Contractor requires printed documents, then they may do so upon request to the Town Engineer at a fee determined at that time. A list of prospective bidders will be developed for all Contractors who pickup documents from the Town Hall or the Town s website. Bids from prospective bidders who have not obtained these documents from one of these places will not be accepted. Inquiries concerning the scope and bidding documents or other technical questions shall be directed to the Town Engineer at 301-829-1424 (if automated phone system, select engineering). The Town of Mount Airy hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any and all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any Bid, and to accept the Bid which, in the judgment of the Owner, is to its best interest.
