Bid Bond Required No The City of Palm Bay, as lead agency for this Brevard County Cooperative Bid, is requesting Bids from qualified suppliers for Mowing & Related Equipment. No commitments for future purchases for this or any other project are implied and responding Bidders should not infer any such intentions by the City. Each agency will be responsible for making their own purchases, whether by Purchase Order or Purchasing Card. The intent of this solicitation is to establish multiple, ready, and economical sources for mowers and related equipment, new purchases, parts, and repairs. Requirements shall be for an open quantity of parts and materials, to be ordered on an as needed basis as may be required for the continuous upkeep, maintenance and repair of equipment owned by the individual agency and will cover any parts and equipment procured during the contract period. This contract will be awarded to multiple Bidders. The City purchases various new equipment and replacement parts for many types of landscaping equipment and mowers; the operational purpose for the equipment varies (see below). This bid is for new purchases of equipment and parts with pick-up from the Contractor's location by City Staff, delivery of equipment for maintenance and repairs to be delivered to the Contractor's facility and picked-up by City Staff, and the option for delivery and pick-up/towing fees for equipment and parts. City pick-up and delivery would be the preferred method of logistics.
