The primary scope of work, BASE BID is to perform excavation and grading site work at an existing effluent water disposal area at the City of Coalinga Waste Water Treatment Plant located north of Polk Street (SR 33) and east of Warthan Creek in Coalinga, CA. The work consists of, but is not limited to: earthwork excavation, onsite disposal and grading Direct all questions regarding this project in writing to info@tricityengineering.com. All questions must be received prior to 12:00PM, August 25th, 2023. Each bid shall be accompanied by cash, a cashier's or certified check payable to the City of Coalinga, or bid bond issued by a corporate surety, for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate of the bid, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into the proposed contract if the same is awarded to him. Such guarantee will be forfeited should the bidder to whom the contract is awarded fail to enter into the contract. A Performance Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount and a Labor and Materials Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will be required by the City from the bidder to whom the contract is awarded The successful Bidder must possess or obtain a valid California Class "A" Contractor's license prior to the scheduled award date of this contract. The City reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any and all bids for any reason whatsoever, to waive minor irregularities in such bids, and to determine the lowest responsible bidder
