The Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission DBA U.S. Space & Rocket Center seeks sealed bids for the renovations of the Habitat Bathroom Countertops and Sinks This scope of work encompasses the removal of all bathroom countertops on the 2nd through 4th floor to be replaced with Corian style countertops complete with sink. The final product shall be operational bathroom countertops with functioning faucets. One bathroom on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor will require replacement of a bathroom cabinet. The contractor shall furnish complete application and installation services, including all labor, equipment, and materials in order to complete the project. Installation must be scheduled to not disrupt USSRC Space Camp Operations. Scope of Work: o South bathroom # 1: 2'6" x 1'5" zero sink (countertop only), 5'2" x 2' with two sinks, 6'11" x 2' with two sinks. o South bathroom #2: 3'7" x 2' single sink, 5'10" x 2' two sink, 3'11" x 2' single sink (all countertops in these bathrooms are curved with the wall and have two different heights of 2'8" and 2'3") o South Staff bathroom: 3'7" x 2' single sink o North Bathroom: 7'7" x 2' with 2'3" height, three sink, 6'x2' with 2'8" height two sink. o North Staff Bathroom # 1: 5'11" x 2' single sink o North Staff Bathroom # 2: 5'11" x 2' single sink Bids must be submitted on DCM C-3 Bid Proposal forms. Additional documentation includes DCM C-4 Bid Bond, C3A Acct Sales Tax, Certificate of Insurance, E-Verify, Al Vendor Disclosure statement, Al GC License, and company W9 form. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Owner. The bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
