The Request for Quotes (RFQ) number FA251722Q0096 shall be used to reference any written quote provided under this RFQ. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-04, effective 06/02/2023. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code will be 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The size standard is $11,000,000.00. The purpose of this request for quote and solicitation is for Replace Swing Door from Chamber 4 to Electrical Bay, CMSFS, CO PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Remove and replace electric bay swing door into chamber 4, new door should be a manually operated roll-up overhead type door. The existing door is heavy and requires a fork lift to completely shut. The operation to using the locking mechanism places personnel fingers in a dangerous situation for pinching and smashing. The door no longer maintains a proper seal. Plan to include the removal of metal swing door and installation of a rollup door. This door will be insulated and have wind locks for air flow. The curtain style door will have the roll installed into the chamber vs. the inside of 12108. The operation will be manual with a chain to operate. All applicable representations and certifications shall be completed in SAM.gov. Failure to do so may result in quotes being considered as non-compliant. A site visit will be hosted at Cheyenne Mountain SFB on Wednesday 17 August 0900. Meet at Building 15 Visitor Center. Attendance is not mandatory.
