Roosevelt Street from Spokane to Kittitas is in need of utility improvements to the stormwater and drinking water systems. The street has an existing stormwater main but lacks curb and catch basins to capture the stormwater. The water system includes lead parts and a cast iron main from 1930. The project will eliminate lead parts from this area of the water system and add infrastructure to manage the stormwater. As of October 13, 2023, this is in the conceptual phase and pending funding. An engineer has not been selected. This project is included in the City of Wenatchee's Fiscal Year 2023- 2025 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and funding allotted for FY 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
