Project Site: Physical Education Center (PE Center) Fieldhouse Rd Holderness, New Hampshire The design program will incorporate three (3) prioritized elements: 1. Replacement of existing steam boiler system. 2. Upgrade and installation of ventilation system 3. Installation of air conditioning. PSU will not have the available budget to complete all three (3) priorities. Therefore, we are seeking the following for each design element: Boiler Replacement: The proposal will include full design and construction administration services for the boiler replacement project. USNH will be engaging a construction manager to provide preconstruction services, which will include cost estimating. PSU engaged RFS Engineers to review the systema and provide recommendations regarding replacement or upgrade. This report is included in this RFP. Ventilation System: The proposal will include full Schematic Design elements, which will allow the Construction Manager (CM) to provide pricing for PSU to seek funding sources. Working with the CM will also include identification of long lead components and integration with the boiler replacement project. Air Conditioning: The proposal will include full Schematic Design elements, which will allow the Construction Manager (CM) to provide pricing for PSU to seek funding sources. Working with the CM will also include identification of long lead components and integration with the boiler replacement project. Coordinating with PSU staff the project team will identify areas where air conditioning will be installed. The project design phase is anticipated to be from September 2023 - February 2024; Phase 1 construction May 2024 July 2024. Depending on equipment lead times and subject to negotiation. It is intended that all work is complete by summer 2025. The anticipated construction budget for all design work and construction of the boiler system is four point five ($4.5 M) million The anticipated construction budget is $15M.
