Questions and Answers: The City provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through Periscope S2G by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The City will respond to all questions via Periscope S2G. License Requirements: General Contractor's license or current certificate of competency issued by Palm Beach County Examining Board having jurisdiction over licensing of Contractors in the type of work involved in this contract. Bid Allowance Amounts: This solicitation includes a pass-thru allowance. It is not necessary to add your allowance amounts into your bid prices. Periscope S2G will automatically add the allowance amounts indicated to your bid total and will be reflected on the final bid tabulation. Schedule Phase 1: Video Allowance ($30,000), BDA System Allowance ($$85,000), Hazardous Abatement Allowance ($150,000), New Gas Line Extension Allowance ($51,500), Door Wraps Allowance ($30,000), Security ADT Allowance ($350,000), Furniture Allowance ($550,000), Undefined General Allowance ($1,000,000), and Indemnification Allowance ($10.00). Schedule Phase 2: Patch Paint and Repair Allowance ($55,000), Remove and Replace Existing Elevator ($85,000), and Undefined General Allowance ($750,000). The City of Delray Beach is exempt from Federal and State Taxes for tangible personal property tax. The City of Delray Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any irregularities and/or technicalities, and to award the contract on such coverage and terms it deems will best serve the interests of the City. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to the City of Delray Beach in an amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check or cashiers check Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially completed within eight hundred and forty (840) calendar days from the date of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with paragraph 15.13 of the General Conditions within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of Substantial Completion
