The proposed work is generally described as follows: W. Trollinger Avenue Sidewalk Improvements - Phase 1 Approximately 800 SY (1370 LF) of 5" thick concrete sidewalk Approximately 160' of 6' wide High Visibility Pedestrian Crosswalk Approximately 7 NCDOT Type 1B Curb Ramps Approximately 55' of 24" Curb & Gutter replacement Approximately 20' LF of 15" Class 56 DIP Storm Drainage Approximately 1 grate inlet installation Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of North Carolina, duly licensed accordingly for the appropriate section of Bid. A 5% Bid security must accompany each Bid. Each Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bids and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, and to reject the bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of Owner to make an award to that Bidder. Owner also reserves the right to waive informalities.
