Roof replacement for the main office at Anzalduas Plant. 1.1 Project Overview The United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC) requires the roof repair of the Personnel's Building of the Anzalduas Field Office located at is located at 6900 Anzalduas Dam Road, Mission Texas 78752. 1.2 General This is a non-personnel services Contract to provide roof repair due to water damage. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the Contract service providers performing the services herein. Such Contract service providersshall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. 1.3 Description of Services The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform roof repair in the personnel building built in 2000'sin the Anzalduas Dam Field Office Main Building defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. 1.4 Objective A. Remove existing felt shingles on roof of USIBWC / Mercedes Field Office Personnel Building. B. Perform an inspection of the steel deck on the roof once the shingles are removed. USIBWC needs to approve any replacement to be completed on the metal deck. C. The contractor must install a new insulated underlayment above steel deck and single ply membrane roofing system or better than the existing felt with hot applied asphalt on the roof, which meetsthe requirements established in this Performance Work Statement. 1.5 Project Location The work is within the United States on land owned by the USIBWC. The Anzalduas Dam Field Office site is located at 6900 Anzalduas Dam Road, Mission Texas 78752. A. The work islocated completely within the United States. B. Access to the Anzalduas Dam Field Office does not require crossing through the United States Port of Entry. 1.6 Period of Performance A. The contractor shall complete this work within 120 calendar days after the Contract has been awarded to the Contractor.
