The project consists of: Installing approximately 706 linear feet of 8" DR 11 HDPE water line The horizontal directional drill installation of 500 linear feet of 12" steel casing under the Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks and Alabama Hwy 72. The Hawk Pride Mountain Water System obtained Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) assistance through the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM). Compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules, and regulations is required. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, proof of insurance, and a complete list of subcontractors and suppliers will be required prior to the signing of the Contract. A Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract costs and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract cost in the form and terms approved by Hawk Pride Mountain Water System will be required at the signing of the contract. In addition, the Contractor must furnish to Hawk Pride Mountain Water System at the time of the signing of the contract a certificate of insurance coverage as provided in the specifications. The right is reserved to reject any and/or all bids and waive informalities and to furnish any item of material or work to change the amount of said Contract.
