This project involves the removal and replacement of approximately 165 linear feet of sanitary sewer including, but not limited to excavation and disposal of existing pipe; replacement with new PVC pipe; connection to existing structures; wye fitting and lateral installation; adjustment of existing manholes to grade; post-repair televising; concrete driveway restoration; yard restoration; and traffic control. Bidders will be responsible for viewing the project on their own. All questions regarding the project should be submitted to Travis K. Stanczyk, P.E. by email at travis.stanczyk@gibson-thomas.com. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidders Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of Ross Township in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within fifteen (15) days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. An additional $15.00 fee for postage & handling will be charged if mailed at Gibson-Thomas Engineerings cost. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates are required to be paid on this contract. All contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the same has been filed with Ross Township. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee. The Owner reserves the right to reject any of all bids or to waive any informality in bids received.
