The Project includes the following Work: The T.O. 4 & 8 Water Main Extensions project consists of installing 6-inch C900 PVC water main approximately 8,050 linear feet along S McCullen Rd (SR #1742), 6,700 linear feet along Governor Moore Rd (SR #1742), 9,750 linear feet along Auctioneer Rd (SR #1752), 8,500 linear feet along N Peavine Rd (SR #1309), 2,700 linear feet along E Darden Rd (SR #1740), 9,600 linear feet along Hollerin Rd (SR #1475), 500 linear feet along Roseboro Highway, and 450 linear feet along Wrench Rd (SR #1472) via open-cut installation, dry boring under driveways, and horizontal directional drilling under each wetland and stream. The Project has an expected duration of 300 days. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidders' Questions All Bidders' questions and/or clarifications must be submitted in writing no later than 5:00 PM, local time on August 31, 2023. Bidders' questions and/or clarifications received after this date will not receive a response. If warranted, Bidders' questions and/or clarifications may be answered by Addenda. Instructions to Bidders This project will be funded from the State Fiscal Recovery Fund utilizing ARP funds; therefore, the project is subject to Federal laws, regulations, executive orders, and terms and conditions associated with that program. The County reserves the right to reject all bids if there is a sound documented reason. The Bidder shall submit bids on a fixed price basis.
