a. It is the intent of the Township of Hamilton to enter into a shared contract with Multiple Contractors who will perform New Service, emergency repairs and/or replacements of underground infrastructure owned and operated by The Township of Hamilton, Department of Water Pollution Control (WPC). This infrastructure includes wastewater system piping and other buried assets such as manholes and flow chambers, which are located throughout Hamilton Township as part of the Wastewater System. b. It is the intent of these specifications to detail the Contractor's duties, responsibilities and requirements; to instruct the Bidder on the manner and method of submitting a bid; and to define the terms and conditions of said contract. c. Length of Contract - Hamilton Township can award a contract of this type not to exceed a total of four (4) years in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15. This contract shall be awarded for twenty-four (24) months and may be renewed annually for two (2) one (1) year contract extensions on the following date of Council Award of the original contract dependent upon satisfaction with the service that Hamilton Township is receiving. Said renewals shall be at the sole option of the Township. If all parties awarded the contract agree to the contract extension(s), pricing submitted on the proposal page(s) and conditions shall remain unchanged. 2023 Underground Infrastructure, New Service, Repair and Emergency Repair
