Orange County, Florida, henceforth referred to as the County is accepting sealed bids for Courthouse CEP Technician Space Improvements. The project is the interior renovation of CEP tech space, owned by Orange County and located in building "E" of the Courthouse Complex. Scope of work includes minor demolition of interior partitions and demolition of interior finishes, ceiling soffits, grid, acoustical ceiling tile, light fixtures, ceiling devices, and HVAC diffusers. Proposing new wall and floor finishes, new light fixtures, diffusers, and returns. New air handler units are to be replaced like for like. Due to the area of alteration consisting of more than 50% of the building floor, the existing restrooms will be required to be updated to meet the current ADA requirements. This would include updating plumbing fixtures and accessories and rework of existing walls to accommodate a new ADA-compliant shower stall. The new plan should be comprised of areas to accommodate the appropriate number of touchdown stations, demonstration work benches, a lock shop with secured storage, and miscellaneous general open shelving units for parts storage. There will be no change to the existing building footprint, occupancy classification, and egress components. Existing fire sprinklers and system to be modified based on new ceiling layout; all existing sprinklers are to receive new concealed sprinkler heads. The question-and-answer module of ProcureNow OpenGov IS being utilized for this solicitation. Timely questions concerning this solicitation shall be submitted in accordance with the deadline for questions: 09/06/2023 at 5:00 PM ET. Respondents are instructed not to contact the initiating division directly. range County exercises the rights and privileges conveyed to it by the State of Florida, and the Orange County Charter. It presently operates with an elected chief executive officer, Orange County Mayor, and six elected district commissioners, who together comprise the Board of County Commissioners. Procurement is an essential function of the County, affecting all operational departments, ongoing projects and future initiatives. The Procurement Division is divided into three (3) Sections, the "Buying Section", the "Purchasing Section" and the "Contracts Section". The CEP Tech Space is owned by Orange County and located in Building E of the Courthouse Complex. The existing 7823 square foot building consists of 3975 square foot space in use by the CEP Tech group on the first floor. The existing scope area includes a fragmented area including a plans room, Engineering Office, Chief's Office, Break Room, Restrooms, Electrical Storage Room, Electrical Shop and Command Central area that are no longer functioning as needed for the facility.
