Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, Security in the amount of 10% of the bid in accordance with the Instructions to the Bidders. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract and Maintenance Bond for 10% of the contract sum. Attention to bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to the conditions of the employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. No bidder may withdrawal his/her bid within 90days after the actual date of the opening. No bidder is permitted to request documents after August 14, 2023and the last day to ask questions or request interpretations is 11:00 A.M. on August 18, 2023. Bids shall be addressed to the County of Clarion, 330Main Street, Clarion, PA 16214. The bid envelope must be SEALED and clearly marked "BID DOCUMENTSFOR PROJECT NO. 083-2021A - DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 10:00 A.M. on August 22, 2023." The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bid.
